Kristine Goto
Dr. Kristine Goto is a postdoctoral resident in pediatric neuropspychology at Beljan Psychological Services. She holds her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and Masters Degree in Counselor Education from Arizona State University. In addition, Dr. Goto recieved her Master of Fine Arts Degree from the A.R.T. Institute at Harvard University and the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia.
She specializes in behavioral health medicine, rehabilitation, addictions and trauma with adolescents and adults. Treatment modalities administered by Dr. Goto include CBT, EMDR, and Ericksonian hypnosis. Dr. Goto has completed multiple internships with advanced rotations at The Meadows of Wickenburg, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, and HealthSouth, among others. Her research interests include psychopharmacology, performance enhancement, and clinical efficacy research.
Currently an associate faculty member of the Center for Research in Engineering, Science, and Technology (CRESMET) at Arizona State University, Dr. Goto has developed and authored online applications of stress reduction and relaxation training for the Virtual Counseling Center. Dr. Goto's other publications include lead authorship on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Techniques in the present Encyclopedia of Counseling. As consumer representative, Dr. Goto serves on the the Arizona Psychological Association Training Consortium Board of Directors, and holds memberships in the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Psychological Association.
